What is diabetes?
Diabetes is one of the dangerous disease which will occur when the amount of glucose(or sugar) in your blood is too high than the normal rate. Insulin, a hormone from pancreas helps glucose to from food to get it in to your cells to be used for energy.
Sometimes what happens is your body might not generate enough insulin or it might not use insulin well. So in this case the glucose will stay in your blood and it doesn’t reach your cells.
If this happened for a long time, your glucose level in the blood will increase which cause a diabetes.
What are the symptoms of diabetes?
There are lots of common signs or symptoms for diabetes. If you have those symptoms you need to be very careful.
I will list some of the symptoms below:
1. Dry mouth
2.You will be hungry especially after eating
3.You will get frequent urination
4.You might suffer with urine infections also
5.Unexpected weight loss
6.You will feel so tired
9.Tingling or numbness in the hand or feet.
10.Feeling very thirsty.
Types of Diabetes
Type 1 diabetes occurs when your pancreas doesn’t produce enough insulin to the cells of your body. It generally develops in childhood and it might sometimes affects adults also. Weight loss, feeling hungry and urine infection are the main symptoms of type 1 diabetes.
If you having these symptoms, you must consult a doctor or an health care specialist.
You will need insulin therapy to treat this type 1 diabetes.
Type 2 diabetes is the most common form on diabetes which affects the most of the people. Initially if your pancreas make lots of insulin but over the time if it can’t make enough to keep it up, it will develop type 2 diabetes.
As I already told you insulin will transfer the glucose from your blood to energy cells. If your pancreas doesn’t make enough insulin then the glucose will stay in your blood which causes diabetes.
Weight loss is not the main symptom of type 2 diabetes but if you feel tingling or numbness in your hands or feet or if you feel so tired, you must consult your health are team.
